Edgar Davids: Juventus Are Ready To Win Again
The 'pitbull' believes Juventus can taste success this season with the squad they have...
Ciro Ferrara was appointed as coach, and Fabio Cannavaro, Diego and Felipe Melo have been the stellar transfers so far. Davids, who played alongside Ferrara, believes his former team-mate will steer his side towards Calcio prosperity.
"Ferrara has gained experience from Marcello Lippi during his days with the national side and I think Juventus are ready to start winning again," the ex-midfielder told Tuttosport.
"The fans must be patient though as it's not easy when you rebuild a squad. The winning strategy doesn't just come in two days.
"However, there is a very positive atmosphere at Juventus right now."
The Bianconeri are hoping their first piece of silverware will be the Peace Cup. Ferrara's men clash with Real Madrid in the semi-final on Friday.
