I'm Happy As A Child - Soon-To-Be Barcelona Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Now former Inter player Zlatan Ibrahimovic can't wait to get started at Barcelona after he completes his medical tests.
The huge Zlatan Ibrahimovic-Samuel Eto'o swap between Inter and Barcelona is by now practically a done deal, as the European and Spanish champions announced that 'Ibra' will undergo a medical on Monday.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, the Swede is thrilled with this move and can't wait to start his new adventure.
"I am happy as a child," he is reported as saying, "I truly can't wait to [start] this new adventure, I am immensely happy."
Ibrahimovic said these words from his home town of Malmo, Sweden, where he will spend the weekend before taking off for Barcelona and having his medical checks.
Meanwhile, Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola also made some comments about the 27-year-old.
"I expect the best from Ibrahimovic," the coach said. "He's a fine player, but I don't want to make other comments until the official announcements are made. If he comes, I hope he adapts to Spanish football."
