“Obviously there is a large possibility of this taking place, but I am calm at present, and I certainly do not fear anyone,” Comotto explained to Firenzeviola.it.
“A foreign player coming to a club will always bring something new with them, but for me this isn’t a problem.
“It is important for a team like Fiorentina to have two players for all roles, including my own.
“I managed to attract the interest of this club before I signed for several seasons. I was one of the best in my position in Italy, something that everyone is now aware of.”
Comotto closed the interview by briefly discussing the season ahead, especially referring to his anticipation of taking part in another Champions League campaign.
“Last season was the most difficult of my career, as I suffered a serious injury," he affirmed.
