The Italian U21 goalkeeper is remaining committed to the Orobici as he prepares for pre-season...
After arriving at Atalanta’s pre-season training camp in Brentonico, Andrea Consigli has declared his desire to get straight down to work and focus on the season ahead with the Orobici.
“I am full of energy and raring to go,” Consigli declared to Tuttomercatoweb.
“I want to improve as much as possible and make a real name for myself next season.”
Despite recent transfer rumours linking the U21 international with a move to Milan, Consigli was clear that he is not affected by the speculation.
“Milan? I’m not really interested in the transfer talk and I’m only focused on doing my best for Atalanta,” said the youngster.
Following the summer arrival of fellow U21 teammate Robert Acquafresca, Consigli then gave his take on the Bergamaschi’s new hitman.
“I was lucky enough to get to know Robert during our experience in Sweden. I am happy he chose to come to Bergamo but I refuse to take any of the credit, as Robert already had Atalanta in his head before the European Championships.”
