The former Udinese hitman outlined his season’s objectives as the Old Lady prepare to take the scudetto race all the way...
Vincenzo Iaquinta says he is ready to take up his responsibilities, along with the rest of the Juventus squad, as they prepare to fight for some important objectives this season.
Speaking at a press conference at the Old Lady’s pre-season training base in Pinzolo, the Italian hitman was clear that this year Juventus must win something, at all costs.
“The club’s summer transfer campaign has been an important one this year. Some big investments have been made and this year we won’t have any alibis,” he declared.
The World Cup winner then gave his take on the mixed reaction amongst the Juventini faithful to the return of former Bianconero Fabio Cannavaro.
“The demonstrations against Fabio are damaging to the whole Juventus environment. The fans must get behind the players who wear the black and white shirt. If one of my teammates is whistled it angers me; but Cannavaro is a great champion and he won’t let such things get to him.”
“To win next season, Juventus will also be counting on Cannavaro,” he concluded.
