Boca Juniors' Rodrigo Palacio Looking Foward To Genoa Future
The Argentine is excited at the prospect of playing in Italy as he waits to undergo a medical with the Grifoni...
After recently arriving in Italy to undergo a medical ahead of his proposed move from Boca Juniors to Genoa, Rodrigo Palacio has spoken of his excitement at the opportunity to play for the Grifoni.
“I am very happy at the possibility of coming to play here in Genova,” he declared to Datasport.
“This is a great opportunity for me and it is arriving just at the right moment in my career. Genoa is a very ambitious club, with a squad that is hoping to stay at the top of their game to emulate last season’s success.”
Given the historic links between Genova and Buenos Aires, Palacio looked to add a touch of fate to his imminent switch to the Grifoni.
“I am here to bring the warmest regards from your Boca cousins, where the families of many Genovese immigrants still reside today," he stated.
