Alberto Aquilani Will Lead Roma Revival - Agent
The representative of the Italy star is confident the midfielder will play a crucial role for the Giallorossi next season...
The 24-year-old was plagued by injury problems last season and only made 19 appearances in all competitions for the Lupi, before opting to undergo ankle surgery in May.
“Let’s hope that, after all the sacrifices Aquilani has made, the next one will be his season,” agent Franco Zavaglia told Radio Radio.
“Hopefully, a season without problems, without injuries. I hope that Alberto will get the gratifications he deserves.
“Roma’s midfield is the source of envy and next season the Giallorossi will have a great desire to make amends.”
Roma endured a difficult campaign last term and finished Serie A in sixth place, missing out on a lucrative Champions League spot but qualifying for the new-look Europa League.
