I Want To Make A New Start At Juventus - Jonathan Zebina
Juventus defender Jonathan Zebina has started his pre-season preparations early to redeem himself after he was forced on the sidelines due to injury for the better part of last season.
"I am happy to have made this choice," he said to the club's official website Juventus.com. "After I returned in March I didn't have any problems, and in the last few games I was doing very well, I was actually sad the season was over.
"For this reason, we have decided to ancitipate the times. I'm doing well and I've got enthusiasm. The conditions are in place to do well, including a coach like Ciro Ferrara who knows me and who immediately gave me trust. I think I will make a new start this season, I've also decided to change my shirt number, I now wear the 15 which I had also worn in my first years in Italy.
"I like the team that's being formed, we have everything to do well. I hope it will be a year full of satisfactions for us and our fans.
"The whistling during some matches of last season? It's too bad, but I have nothing to regret. Personally I would prefer to restart from the applause and encouragement I received in the last two matches of last season."
Zebina has been at Juve since 2004, staying faithful to the club when they were demoted to Serie B in 2006.
