Felipe Melo Departure Would Be A Big Loss For Fiorentina - Marco Donadel
Fiorentina's young midfielder thinks his teammates departure would be a major loss for the team...
After confirming his good form with Fiorentina last season at the Confederations Cup with Brazil, midfielder Felipe Melo has become a transfer target for a number of big clubs, with Juventus and Arsenal the primary candidates for his signature.
His team mate Marco Donadel believes that if the 25-year-old does leave, it will be a big loss for the Viola.
"If Melo leaves, it will be a bad blow for us," he said to Sky Sport 24.
"Fiorentina would lose a lot from the physical point of view in the middle of the pitch. Having many good players up front, we need a physically strong defensive midfielder like Melo.
"However, everyone has their desires, in four years I have seen many players come and leave.
"If Felipe joins Juventus? It would be strange to see him with the Bianconeri, but I don't want to judge anyone."
