Roma Pondering Swoop For Torino’s Matteo Sereni – Report
The former Lazio keeper could be on the verge of a return to the capital, but this time in Giallorosso...
According to the latest reports from Tuttomercatoweb, Roma are considering a surprise swoop for veteran keeper Matteo Sereni, who is currently contracted to Torino. The deal could unfold in the coming days following the recent loan agreement that will see Roma defender Simone Loria move to the Granata for the coming season.
Despite his recent history with local rivals Lazio, it seems the Giallorossi are not put off a potential swoop because of the depth Sereni could offer to Roma’s ranks.
Although the club's hierarchy would be pleased to see him with the club, he may not be so warmly welcomed by the supporters, especially if he is called to appear on derby day.
