Lazio are the latest team to be running after former Inter player Julio Cruz, who is currently available on a free transfer, according to tuttomercatoweb.com.

Before the Biancocelesti’s inclusion, Napoli seemed destined to land the veteran striker as their offer surpassed the €1.5 million bid for one year tabled by Fiorentina to the player.

It is still unclear what Lazio's offer is, and according to the latest reports coming from Italy, it is unlikely that they will manage to improve on the Partenopei's offer.

However, the Azzurri are not certain of landing Cruz, who has repeatedly stated that his desire is to remain in Italy and continue playing in Serie A.
