AC Milan Vice-President Galliani In Madrid On Saturday For Huntelaar - Report

The Netherlands star is another name on the Rossoneri's wishlist...

Real Madrid's new signing Klaas-Jan Huntelaar shows off to his fans during his presentation at the Santiago Bernabeu
After having an initial bid for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano rejected, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani will fly to the Spanish capital and ask Real Madrid for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, according to tuttomercatoweb.

Earlier reports revealed that Galliani had flown to Sevilla to enquire about the Brazilian striker, but there is some distance between Milan's offer and Sevilla's valuation of the player.

Thus, Galliani will now fly to Madrid to speak with los Blancos president Florentino Perez about the availability of Huntelaar, who scored eight times in 20 appearances in La Liga in 2008-09.

The Dutchman is apparently surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu after the arrivals of Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, and  Karim Benzema.

The report suggested that if a deal moves forward, the former Ajax star is unlikely to be present in pre-season training on Monday. There were also indications that the initial deal could be in the form of a loan, with a right to purchase at the expiry date.
