Inter Ace Mario Balotelli In Air Scare
‘SuperMario’ has had a minor brush with death when his flight from Milan to Palermo made an emergency landing.
His AirOne flight from Milan to Palermo was forced into an emergency landing last night after smoke had been detected in the cockpit.
The incident happened about 20 minutes after take-off from Milan’s Linate Airport.
The pilot informed the passengers that he was heading back to Milan due to technical problems and minutes later the jet safely touched down.
“It’s not the first time for me, it had already happened in Lisbon,” a relieved Balotelli is quoted as saying in La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The passengers were then accommodated on an Alitalia flight to the Sicilian capital.
