The 28-year-old has apparently beaten the competition of Klaas Jan Huntelaar, another forward that Milan were reportedly interested in after Edin Dzeko's move from Wolfsburg collapsed.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has already contacted the club, but an agreement isn't close yet. His offer was between €16 and 18 million, but the Spanish club don't want anything less than the player's buyout clause of €30 million.
It's well known that, after Kaka's departure to Real Madrid, Milan are looking for a new attacker, while Luis Fabiano himself has already revealed that Milan is a dream club for him.
