AC Milan Pushing For Genoa Defender Domenico Criscito - Report
The 22-year-old's performances have caught the eye of the Rossoneri...
The left-back had a fantastic campaign on-loan with the Grifoni in the 2008-09 campaign and also was impressive at the Under-21 European championships in Sweden this summer. He is considered one of the best young defenders in the peninsula.
A deal was recently struck that sees him co-owned by Juventus and Genoa, but the Rossoneri may be able to sway them with a hefty bid in the region of €8 million.
It has been rumoured that Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani had flown to Sweden during the recent tournament and spoken directly with the player about the possibility of coming to the San Siro.
Criscito made 35 Serie A appearances this past season, showing his versatility by playing as a left-back, a left sided midfielder, and in the centre of defence.
