Udinese Overvalued D'Agostino In Negotiations With Juventus - Italian Jounalist

According to this commentator, Udinese are holding out for too much money...

Gaetano D'Agostino - Inter (Serie A)
Negotiations between Juventus and Udinese for midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino appear to be at an impasse, with the demands of the Zebrette proving to be a major stumbling block and one well-respected Italian personality believes that president Giampaolo Pozzo is being stubborn.

"The president cannot really believe D'Agostino is worth € 20 million," suggested journalist Mario Sconcerti, who is a commentator for Sky, in an editorial in the Corriere della Sera.

"The problem is not whether D'Agostino will go to Juventus, but if he is right for them."

Sconcerti suggests that the 27-year-old has not been as influential as some believe.

"He is certainly the one who has improved the most in his role [deep lying playmaker] over the last two years, but when he was a trequartista he struggled to adapt and never made a difference," he continued.

"Last year it was [Gokhan] Inler valued at €20 million and there is a growing view that [Kwadwo] Asamoah also is worth that much. They are all on the same team, yet Udinese came in seventh place. D'Agostino is at his peak, but perhaps not so decisive."
