Report: Juventus Ready To Pounce On Lazio Star Goran Pandev
The Macedonian attacker has emerged as one of the Old Lady's prime targets...
According to Sky Sport, Juventus have given up on signing Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi, as the player costs more than the Italian club can afford for one player at this point.
For this reason, the Bianconeri board decided during a meeting yesterday that they will focus on Lazio's unsettled striker, Goran Pandev, who is within their reach economically and can guarantee them goals.
This decision has been taken irrespective of whether they manage to sell David Trezeguet or not, and therefore they will not be tied down by other factors before trying to sign the player.
On Monday, the Biancocelesti's president, Claudio Lotito, had threatened to nail Pandev down on the bench if he tried to force his way out of the club.
However, it is also true that if Lazio receive an offer equal or close to Pandev's market value, then his transfer to Turin could become a reality.
