Ignazio Abate Wants To Stay With AC Milan - Agent
The midfielder's future is far from certain, but his desire is to play in the red and black strip...
Abate has been owned by the Rossoneri since 2003, but has not made a single Serie A appearance for the club, enduring spells at Napoli, Sampdoria, and Empoli among others instead.
However, the player is ready to perform for the Milanese giants.
"He is very happy to be reacquired by Milan and hopes to be able to reciprocate the trust he has been given with his performances," the player's agent, explained to tuttomercatoweb.
"Ignazio will make himself available to the club and for the time being there is nothing that suggest he cannot stay in Milan."
Abate spent the last season at Torino, but with the club's relegation has returned to the San Siro. He is currently involved in the Under-21 European championships in Sweden, where Italy have a semi-final clash against Germany on June 26.
