The striker’s representative claims Genoa are the first choice for his client but the clubs have yet to agree a fee.
“We are waiting for a new meeting to weigh up all the possibilities,” the representative told Calciomercato.it.
“It will probably take place next week, but there is no set date as yet. It will depend on the schedules of both presidents who are always very busy.
“There is not agreement with Genoa yet, but it is obvious that the Rossoblu are the first choice for Moussa and it would be a great opportunity for him.”
It has been suggested that other Serie A clubs, namely Juventus, Milan and Fiorentina, have enquired after the versatile Belgian international.
“Genoa are the only club to have talked to AZ so far, the others have just asked for preliminary information,” concluded Vervoort.
