Genoa President Enrico Preziosi Admits Interest In Valencia's Emiliano Moretti
The Rossoblu are searching for an experienced player who can offer different options to the coach next season.
Due to all the commitments awaiting the Rossoblu next season, such a purchase could become important for the team and Preziosi has not excluded the possibility of signing the player up eventually.
"For Emiliano Moretti there's just an interest," explained the Grifoni's president to Telenord. "Taking action in that zone of the pitch is not our priority, even though having another player of experience could be useful.
"Eventually, the player could play both in the three-man defence in [Salvatore] Bocchetti's role, as well as in midfield in [Domenico] Criscito's position.
"In the necessary rotation that is required when you compete in three competitions, in this area we don't have a substitute."
The 28-year-old player has been at Valencia since 2004, where he played a total of 112 league games.
