Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko Still Milan's Number One Target - Report
The Rossoneri are still busy chasing the talented hitman as new details emerge over the Italian club's plans...
Milan are busy planning a strategy to finally land Wolfsburg ace Edin Dzeko, with club chief Adriano Galliani, sporting director Ariedo Braida, and coach Leonardo discussing the possible transfer, according to Calciomercato.com.
The trio are reportedly at the club's head office in Via Turati and Dzeko is the name on their agenda. The Bosnian hitman is wanted by Il Diavolo, but his club in Germany, Wolfsburg, have been playing hardball.
Milan have already sealed a deal for Aly Cissokho, and Dzeko is now being tipped to be the next recruit. Galliani has stayed tight-lipped over the powerful hitman, but hinted that he is still a big part of the club's ambition.
"Our market is actually like this, we have been after Cissokho for over a year and we also have Thiago Silva. Now our objective is Dzeko and we are waiting for Wolfsburg. If he doesn't arrive we will look for someone with similiar characteristics," Galliani is quoted as saying on Calciomercato.com.
Milan have clearly not given up on their target, despite resistance from Germany as Galliani sends a clear message.
