The Bianconeri have been linked with the hitman who is currently with La Nazionale as he prepares for the Confederations Cup. Although Rossi has a contract which expires in 2013 with the Spanish side, he admits he would return to Serie A if Juventus came calling, and should his current side decide to sell.
"I heard about this possibility [Juventus] but I have a contract with Villarreal and I am well there," Rossi told Tuttosport.
"My dream is to return to Italy, but Villarreal would have to sell me. For now I am just thinking about the Confederations Cup."
Although the Turin-based paper has linked Juve with a number of strikers, club director Alessio Secco claimed his side would not make further investments to their attacking line-up and he suggested David Trezeguet would stay.
