Wolfsburg Tell Milan: Edin Dzeko Is Not For Sale
The German club have issued a statement claiming their top striker is not for sale...
Wolfsburg have stunned Milan by telling them that star striker Edin Dzeko is not up for sale and they denied a deal would be in place, which is what Goal.com revealed on Tuesday.
Despite reports in Italy regarding an offer for the player, the German club claim they have no intention to deal. On Tuesday Goal.com contacted the player's agent and he claimed there was no deal in place, strengthening Wolfsburg's claims today, contrary to what Sky Sport Italia claimed, when they said a deal was 'almost done'.
Wolfsburg sporting director Jurgen Marbach has sent a stark message to the Rossoneri, dashing their hopes of signing the hitman in the process.
"Dzeko is not for sale. We do not want to sell the player and we will announce that we have no intention of have a negotiation with Milan," the German told Dpa.
