Luciano Spalletti Will Not Join Juventus - Italian Media
According to Sky Sport Italia, the coach will not be released by Roma's president Rosella Sensi following a meeting today...
The report claims the former Udinese tactician has spent most of the day locked in talks with Sensi over his future after media speculation linked him with Juventus. However, that possibility seems to have descended into disarray as voices suggest Sensi has shackled the coach to Trigoria.
Sky Sport Italia imply that the Giallorossi chief will not allow Spalletti to leave and it seems both parties have reached an agreement on plans for the future.
An official statement from the Lupi denying the possibility that their coach is set to leave is expected to be released later this evening.
Earlier, Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli did admit his side had a few candidates on their hit list, but that is likely to change following the new details which have emerged from Rome. Ciro Ferrara now seems to be the overwhelming favourite for the job, with Antonio Conte also out of the running.
