Marko Arnautovic's agent is confident the Twente striker will join Inter, despite a broken foot sending the transfer into doubt.
The hitman was set to join the Nerazzurri, but reports suggested that the injury, which could rule the player out for a handful of months, placed the deal into difficulty. Chelsea were also reportedly keen, however, their interest seems to have decreased in recent weeks.
Peter Baars, who represents the player, is confident his client will put pen to paper at the San Siro.
"I think there will be something new next week," Baars told Calciomercato.it.
"I am calm, the player is physically strong and these problems will resolve themselves soon.
"The break is not serious and it will get better."
With the injury question aside, Baars is full of confidence in terms of closing the deal.
"We will be in Italy on Monday or Tuesday and then we will speak with the Inter directors once the medical team have given their report,” he stated.
"I have faith and Inter want to seal the deal because they are convinced of Marko's quality."
