OFFICIAL: Mirko Vucinic Signs Four Year Extension With Roma
The Montenegrin striker has put pen to paper and signed an extension to his deal which will now expire in 2013...
Roma have extended Mirko Vucinic's deal at the club and he will earn more wages after adding two years to his old contract which was set to expire in 2011.
The deal has been coming for quite some time now, and the Giallorossi finally made the move official via a statement on their official website.
The note reads:
"AS Roma S.p.A and Mirko Vucinic have reached an agreement for the extension of his contract until June 30 2013.
"The player will earn €3.3 million for the 2008-09 season, € 4m for the 2009-10 campaign, € 4.2 during the 2010-11 term, € 4.5m for 2011-12 and € 4.7m for his final year in 2012-13
"Vucinic will also receive bonuses related to the success of the team. His image rights remain with Roma."
Vucinic has had his fare share of injuries this season, but the club have shown great faith in their hitman following their move to secure him for the future.
