Former Roma coach Carlo Mazzone has revealed that Barcelona tactician Pep Guardiola invited him to the Champions League final in the Olimpico later tonight.
Guardiola played under Mazzone during his spell at Brescia during the 2001-02 season. The two are still very close and the Italian coach will be the Spaniard's guest this evening.
Mazzone reveals he didn't believe it at first, thinking it was a joke.
"I received a call and I was invited to the Champions League final at the Olimpico," Mazzone told Rai.
"I said 'who's calling?' and he said 'It's me, Pep Guardiola'.
"I thought it was someone just joking around at first, and then I realised. I am really moved by it. Pep was marvellous."
