Inter midfielder Luis Figo, who recently announced his retirement from football, has spoken about his future projects, which could also include his current team.

In fact, Figo's main dream is that of continuing working for the Nerazzurri, as he feels at home at the club and wants to help the team continue winning.

"I would like to do something for Inter," declared the Portuguese player to Sky Sport. "What would I like to do next year? Well, I can't imagine what I will do, because currently I have nothing on my mind.

"If I had to do something for Inter, a team who gave me a lot, taking over any role inside the club, I would be logically very happy."

Figo also gave his opinion on why Inter rarely do well in the Champions League.

"I think that playing in the Champions League needs you to have a different awareness from what we have matured in the Italian league," he explained.

The 36-year-old has been at Inter since 2005 following his move from Real Madrid, and has played 104 league games, scoring nine goals.
