The Azzurri boss is confident the Red Devils will repeat as Europe's best team...

Italy coach Marcello Lippi has commented on the Champions League final in Rome, predicting Manchester United to beat Barcelona on Wednesday.

"Their football, for better or worse, is always purposeful," he said of the English champions to La Stampa.

"Barcelona can manouvre well and quickly move the ball on the ground. However, they lack some physicality, and not just because of the absences of [Rafa] Marquez, [Eric] Abidal, and Dani Alves."

The former Juventus tactician believes the Red Devils can adapt to whatever the Blaugrana throw at them, as he feels they are able to change their style of football more easily than their opponents.

"Barcelona play good, but only in one way. Manchester, conversely, are more varied and flexible. These are just details, but on one night they can weigh more and make the difference."

He also chimed in on the debate of surrounding the best footballer; Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo?

"Messi. With the Barcelona team tailored to him, he is the most formidable player," he concluded.
