Giuseppe Pancaro Warns Milan: Fiorentina Can Beat You

Pancaro believes that the Viola have what it takes to beat the Rossoneri on Sunday and go to Europe's top table through the main door.

Former Milan and Fiorentina player Giuseppe Pancaro thinks that reaching the Champions League is the Tuscan side can achieve, considering the financial status in Serie A.

Competing for the Scudetto is something that has nothing to do with the Viola, according to Pancaro, even though the team are strong enough to beat the likes of Milan.

"I think that it's very difficult for Fiorentina to fight for the top positions, closing the gap for example from Inter, because the economic differences are really a lot," declared the retired player to Violanews.com.

"In my opinion, Fiorentina have taken a very fair political path by aiming on the young players and those talents who need to mature at home, but I believe that the results of these past seasons are the most that the Viola can aim for.

"Alberto Giladino is one of the champions who is part of the Viola squad, together with him there are others. For this reason I say that beating Milan is not impossible."

Fiorentina are currently in fourth place. Two goals' difference up on Milan, the Viola will manage to qualify directly for the Champions League if they defeat the Diavolo.
