Palermo's Igor Budan: Lazio Would Be A Dream
Budan has made it no secret that he is pleased with the rumours linking him to a move to the Biancocelesti at the end of this season.
Palermo striker Igor Budan has just recovered from a long-term injury which sidelined him for most of the season, and he is now looking forward to next season.
However, the 2009-10 campaign could be spent away from the Rosanero, as Lazio have expressed their interest in signing up the Croatian - something which has pleased him immensely.
"I'm coming out of the tunnel luckily, now I'm fine," declared Budan to lalaziosiamonoi.it.
"I read about the Lazio rumour, but I did not speak with anyone. Even last year there were these speculations, but during this period I only thought about healing and I manage.
"Obviously, being linked to Lazio pleases me a lot. [Alen] Boksic was always my idol. It would be a dream to repeat what he did in Rome."
Due to the injuries suffered this season, the 29-year-old player has only managed to make five appearances in Serie A for Palermo.
