With Antonio Conte heading towards Juventus, Bari are searching for a new coach who can lead the team in their first season back in Serie A following this year's promotion from Serie B.

According to the sporting director, Giorgio Perinetti, they have a bit of time in which to make a good decision, even though speculation is that they have already chosen Walter Zenga to be the new coach.

Perinetti confirmed that Conte will not be Bari's coach next season, as a meeting between the former player and the club was supposed to take place yesterday but did not occur due to Conte's certain departure.

"We have taken this decision last weekend," commented the club's director to La Repubblica.

"We need more time to go through the various alternatives."

Apart from Zenga, there are other candidates for this job, including Delio Rossi, Walter Mazzarri and Walter Novellino.
