The player’s agent wanted to rebuff the latest reports that have emerged in the past hours linking his client to Chelsea.Peter Baars, agent of Twente striker Marko Arnautovic, denied the latest speculation that Chelsea could hijack the transfer of his client to Inter.
Baars rebuffed these claims, revealing that next week Arnautovic will be signing for the Nerazzurri as they were both impressed with the club and the ambience.
"It's normal that a young player like Arnautovic wants to look around to understand what could be the best solution for him," declared the player's agent to 24oredisport.com.
"However, I'm in Holland, not in London, therefore this must mean something. We have a great trust in Inter and Inter have a great trust in us.
"I repeat, we were very well impressed by the environment and the directors, and we don't have any doubts. Arnautovic wants Inter.
"We will be in Milan on Monday, or latest on Tuesday. I think that also Arnautovic will come and it could be the definite closure to the deal."
The 20-year-old has been at Twente since 2006, where he played a total of 56 league games, scoring 12 goals in the process.
