Pier Silvio Berlusconi Wanted Francesco Totti At AC Milan
The Milanese giants wanted 'Er Pupone', but their interest has never taken off into a serious deal...
Roma captain Francesco Totti could have joined AC Milan in the past according to Pier Silvio Berlusconi's fiancee, Silvia Toffanin.
The Italian television presenter has revealed that Pier Silvio, Milan president Silvio Berlusconi's son, has always dreamed of taking Totti to the San Siro. Toffanin is good friends with Ilary Blasi, Totti's wife.
"Pier has great esteem for Franceso Totti," Toffanin told Chi magazine.
"He always tells me that taking him [Totti] to Milan was always his dream."
Totti's current deal with the Giallorossi expires in 2010, but the club have not yet moved forward to secure his services for the future. However, reports have suggested the former Italian international will remain at the club.
'Er Pupone' has played at Roma for his whole career, making his debut 16 years ago and Milan are unlikely to sign the Roman, who has always claimed that he will never leave the club.
