Former Italy coach Roberto Donadoni takes his first game in charge of Napoli
Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni was left disappointed by his team’s 2-1 defeat against Torino on Sunday afternoon at the San Paolo stadium.

Donadoni believes that the Azzurri deserved much more from this game and in the end the win for the Granata was not a deserved one.

"The result is not a positive one, but objectively we did not deserve the defeat," commented the former Milan player to Sky.

"We were penalized too much in the only two chances allowed to Torino, the first one of which could have been neutralized with a bit more carefulness.

"We're very sorry, especially for the lads who fought, as they came out extremely tired since they gave everything they had."

With nothing much to play for, Napoli are tied in 13th place with Siena, with 43 points from 36 games played and with two matches remaining before the end of the season.
