I Hope To Play In World Cup 2010 - Roma Star Alberto Aquilani

Roma midfielder,Alberto Aquilani is aiming to play in the World Cup in South Africa in 2010 as he highlights his objectives once he recovers from ankle surgery.
The Roma midfielder is currently in Amsterdam following the intervention to cure a problem which has hampered his season. Aquilani has envisaged his presence in the World Cup above anything else as he reveals his hopes for the future.
"My objective is just that [to play in World Cup 2010]," Aquilani told Sky Sport Italia.
"I want to play in the World Cup, and to do this I have to play regularly at Roma, now I hope to do this."
Luciano Spalletti has been linked with a summer move away from Trigoria, but Aquilani is hoping his coach stays.
"I hope he [Spalletti] is there."
Aquilani is hoping his injury nightmare is over after a less than perfect season spent mostly in the treatment room.
