Santos Reject Christian Vieri - Report
Vieri's search for a new side is not going to plan, following the latest rejection in Brazil...
Former Inter, Juventus and Milan striker, Christian Vieri, is having no luck in finding another club, following his recent contract rescission with Atalanta.
The Italian is currently scouring the Brazilian market as he hopes to reignite his career, just like former team-mate Ronaldo has done at Corinthians.
But, having already been turned down by Adriano's new club Flamengo, Vieri has now also be rejected by Pele's old side, Santos.
The Peixe are concerned about Vieri's fitness and form, after his lack of action with Atalanta - the club he left in April. Vagner Mancini, the Santos coach, admits Vieri was offered to his side, but he decided not to take him.
"We don't really know his real conditions, therefore we are not interested in him [Vieri]," the coach told Tuttomercatoweb.com
The former Italian international is a free agent and will, presumably, continue to search the globe for another club.
