Udinese Stars Quagliarella & Di Natale Flattered By Links To Juventus & Milan

The Italian internationals have dropped strong hints that they could leave the Friuli this summer.

Udinese strikers Fabio Quagliarella and Antonio Di Natale were both guests on Italia 1 show ‘Chiambretti Night’ yesterday and were drawn on the rumours linking them with moves to Juventus and Milan respectively.

Juve are said to be preparing a summer bid for Quagliarella and allegedly met with his representatives earlier this month, while reports suggest that Di Natale could become a target for Milan if Luciano Spalletti is called in to replace Carlo Ancelotti.

“I love it in Udine, no doubt about it, but I am clearly pleased to read that other sides are interested in me,” said Quagliarella.

“I feel I’m ready to join a top side at this point in my career, but my agent is dealing with this.

“Juve? That’s what the papers have been talking about. Who wouldn’t like to play for a big side?”

However, Di Natale was more cautious about his future, but expressed his admiration for Roma boss Spalletti.

“He gave me my debut and we have spent wonderful years together at Empoli and in Udine. I will always be grateful to him,” he stated.

“I have a long contract with Udinese and I think I will end my career there.

“But it is nice to be appreciated. I will talk with the club at the end of the season, but I believe I will stay put.”
