Inter returned to training following a day of rest granted by coach Jose Mourinho after the loss to Napoli on Sunday evening.
The Nerazzurri were back to work at Pinetina and midfielder Sulley Muntari rejoined the squad after missing the past couple of matches through injury according to Calciomercato.
The 24-year-old has been a crucial member of the Nerazzurri midfield this season, making 32 appearances in all competitions for the club. His replacements in midfield, usually the aging Patrick Vieira, have been unable to replicate his impact when he is absent from the line-up. The Ghana international is expected to be in the starting XI when Inter host Lazio on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Maicon, Nelson Rivas, and Francesco Bolzoni worked separately from the rest of the squad doing light training, as they are all recovering from injury.
Despite the loss to Napoli, last season's Serie A champions still hold a seven point advantage at the top of the standings with five matches remaining in the 2008-09 campaign.
