FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti revealed that the rumours linking Inter to a move for Werder Bremen maestro Diego are true.
Werder Bremen playmaker Diego seems practically certain to leave the Bundesliga next summer. Juventus have been the side most frequently linked with the Brazilian, but Inter are also known to be looking for a creative midfield player.
The confirmation of this came from a man who knows a thing or two about the transfer market, namely FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti.
On his official site www.caffebronzetti.com, he revealed that the rumours linking Diego to Inter are not at all fictitious.
"It's true what's being said on the newspapers: Diego is also wanted by Inter," he wrote. "The Brazilian would be perfect to play at the tip of [Jose] Mourinho's diamond midfield."
The Nerazzurri seem to need a playmaker to play behind the strikers as they play in a 4-3-1-2 system. This season that position has been filled by Dejan Stankovic and Luis Figo, with mixed results, as neither of them is a pure playmaker.
