Enrico Preziosi Tells Genoa To Be Humble Again

The Rossoblu suffered their second consecutive league defeat on Sunday as Bologna beat them 2-0 at the Renato Dall'Ara stadium on matchday 33.

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi was far from happy with his side's 2-0 defeat against Bologna which has dampened the prospects of his team securing fourth place in Serie A.

Preziosi was mostly angered by the performance of the Rossoblu, which prompted him to tune his television set to another channel.

"The light went off all of a sudden," declared the Grifoni's patron to La Repubblica. "Yesterday, after ten minutes of the second half, I changed channel because the match was unwatchable.

"Bologna played their honest match, but we played really badly. Now we must play at our best in these five remaining games.

"We got carried away by the too many compliments we received. In this final part of the season we must rediscover the humility and determination."

Genoa have slipped down to fifth place, and currently have 57 points from 33 league games, just one point behind Fiorentina in the race for a Champions League spot.
