Christian Panucci Can Play At Another Big Club After Roma – Agent
The stopper's agent insists his man is good enough to play at a big club when he leaves Roma...
Christian Panucci's agent has revealed his client is planning to join another big club when his current deal with Roma expires at the end of the season.
The stopper's deal expires in June, but his club have not moved forward to offer him a new deal following his public outburst against coach Luciano Spalletti back in January. Although Panucci is no spring chicken, his agent, Oscar Damiani, is confident the Italian will be able to join a top side.
"We are waiting a little longer, but I think there is the possibility that he will join a big club," Damiani told Sportmediaset.it.
"Seeing that [Fabio] Cannavaro has signed for Juventus, I don't see any reason why a top player like Christian cannot do the same."
The defender has been linked with a number of Serie A teams by the Italian media, including his old club, Milan.
Roma are unlikely to offer the stopper a new deal.
