Clarence Seedorf: AC Milan Must Believe Until The End
Seedorf is urging his Rossoneri team-mates to continue believing in the league title as they chase Inter with five games remaining before the end of the season.
Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has not given up hope of reaching the top of the domestic table, even though there are just five league games remaining.
This morale boost arrived following today’s 3-0 win against Palermo at San Siro in matchday 33 of Serie A.
“We must believe until the end, because today an important win arrived which left us seven points away from the top spot,” declared the Dutch player to Milan Channel at the end of the encounter. “We shall see what happens tonight.
“However, we are fully concentrated on the upcoming clash against Catania, because it will be a key match to secure the qualification for the Champions League, then afterwards we shall think about the encounter against Juventus.”
Milan have a two point lead over Juventus and will be hoping that Napoli defeat Inter tonight in order to remain seven points behind their cross-town rivals.
