Genoa striker Diego Milito is looking forward to being back in action and he has declared himself available to play in this afternoon's Serie A clash against Bologna at the Renato Dall'Ara stadium.
Milito suffered an injury a month ago against Udinese and has been recovering ever since. Now he can assist the Rossoblu in this final part of the season, which could land them a Champions League qualification place.
"I have recovered and I will be available for the Bologna game," declared the Argentinean player to Il Secolo XIX.
"If [Genoa coach Gian Piero] Gasperini wants, I'm ready. I can't wait to go back on the pitch."
During this season, the 29-year-old has already made 25 appearances for the Rossoblu in Serie A, scoring 16 goals in the process and helping his side to be one of the surprises of the campaign.
Genoa are, in fact, in fifth place following last night's win by Fiorentina against Roma, they have 57 points from 32 games played, one point behind the Viola, but with a game in hand.
