Ledesma Wants To Stay At Lazio - Agent
Following ongoing rumours over the future of the Lazio playmaker, agent Vincenzo D’Ippolito gave clear signs that his desire is to stay in the capital for the near future…
Although reports, in the past few days, have linked Cristian Ledesma with a move to Juventus in the summer, it now looks more likely that he will remain with the Biancocelesti, after his agent expressed his view on the possible outcome of a summer agreement.
As the deal for Mauro Zarate nears its conclusion, Lazio patron Claudio Lotito will soon have to turn his attentions to Cristian Ledesma - the undisputable leader of the Aquile midfield.
Speaking to Radio Marte, Ledesma’s agent confimed his players' wishes to stay in the capital.
“Ledesma will stay at Lazio. President Lotito is determined to find a solution and reach an agreement with the player,” said Vincenzo D'Ippolito.
With many clubs including Napoli being linked with his client, D’Ippolito then added: “For sure Napoli would love to combine Gargano and Ledesma in their midfield. It would be a great duo at the heart of their side. However, at the moment these are just ideas based on fantasy. It is still too early to be talking about the summer transfer market.”
Ledesma’s agent was keen not to slam any potential doors shut but it now looks more certain than ever that an agreement will be found to keep to midfield ace iwhere he is.
