Lazio president Claudio Lotito flew out to Doha yesterday in an attempt to broker a deal for on-loan striker Mauro Zarate, who has impressed many with his silky smooth performances this season.
The Biancocelesti supremo sat down with representatives from the Arab club Al-Sadd today, and reports indicate that a deal has been agreed upon by both parties.
Lazio will pay out €18 million with an option to spread the payments out over a two year span, and will shell out another €4m for the two year loan deal, according to Sky Sport24. All in all the Biancocelesti will splash out €22 million for the Argentine prodigy.
