Inter striker Hernan Crespo could be in line to swap the San Siro for the Olimpico in Rome this summer as he is linked with a move back to his old stomping ground Lazio.

A report in 24oredisport.com claims the Argentinean hitman, who's current deal with Inter expires at the end of term, will be heading back to the capital. Voices surrounding the Milanese claim Crespo has already been offered a deal by the Aquile worth around €1million per season.

The former Parma ace left Lazio in 2002 to join Inter when Ronaldo left the San Siro to join Real Madrid. Crespo finished the 2000/01 season as top scorer by bagging 26 goals. He also won the Italian Super Cup with the Capitolini.

The striker has been used sparingly by Jose Mourinho, and he is likely to leave once his deal expires in June.

With Crespo a possibilty, former Lazio midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron has also been linked with a move back the the club he left in 2001 for Manchester United.
