Agent Confirms Napoli’s Interest In Siena Defender Camilo Zuniga
The representative for the Colombian has revealed he will meet with the Partenopei very soon.
Camilo Zuniga looks poised to leave Siena this summer and rumours in the peninsula have suggested that Napoli are in the driving seat to land the talented right-back.
The 23-year-old joined Siena from Nacional Medellin last year and has made a big impression in his first season in Serie A.
“Zuniga would love to play in the Champions League, but would not mind joining a prestigious club like Napoli,” agent Riccardo Calleri admitted on Radio Marte.
“I will meet with their directors over the next few days and it is likely that they will put an adequate bid on Siena’s table, as the Azzurri always keep an eye on these young prospects.
“He costs around €7 million, but has taken Serie A by storm in no time. He is a natural right-back and can play either in a four-man or five-man defensive line. He has great physical strength and is also good at going forward.”
Other clubs that are said to be lining up bids for Zuniga include Juventus, Fiorentina and Premier League outfit West Ham United.
