Simone Perrotta Wants To End Career At Roma – Agent
The representative has insisted that the midfielder is not on his way out of the club and is waiting on a contract renewal.
It has been suggested this week that Roma and midfielder Simone Perrotta could part ways at the end of the season and the Italian international could relocate to England. But his agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, has now moved to rubbish the transfer speculation.
“Simone is waiting on a contract extension with Roma,” he told Romanews.eu.“I have always said that he wishes to end his career with the Giallorossi. Even if no offer from the club arrived, Simone would honour his contract.
“There have been contacts with the directors and we are awaiting a proposal. I repeat that his priority is to stay in Rome.”
Roma are in danger of missing out on a place in the Champions League and could consequently be forced to sell some of their top stars.
“This is up to the club and has nothing to do with the player or his agent,” mused Bozzo.
“However, I have not heard about this or the interest from the likes of West Ham [United], Tottenham [Hotspur] or Manchester City. Perrotta was followed by several teams in the past, but none of these clubs have contacted me.”
