Goran Pandev and Mauro Zarate will be staying at Lazio this summer as far as club president Claudio Lotito is concerned.

The strikers have been linked with a number of clubs. Earlier reports on Tuesday morning claimed Zarate was being courted by Manchester City, Liverpool and Inter. It wasn't long before the news hit Lotito's office, and he has wasted no time in reacting to it.

"Zarate should stay tranquil, and we want to renew Pandev's contract at all costs and he knows this," Lotito told Il Tempo.

"This club has a concrete future because we are on the verge of putting an end to all the problems."

The Aquilotti are aiming to push for the Europa League this term. Their emphatic 4-2 win over Roma in the derby has given them a major boost as we head into the business end of the season.

Reports suggest Lotito is currently working hard to keep Zarate on a permanent deal from Arab club Al-Sadd.
